Update on the December Event - Link

Due to operational constraints and stability issues with the December Patch, Turbine has made the decision that delaying the December update until January is in everyone's best interest. We know this will be disappointing for those players who enjoy our monthly content, but after weighing all of our options we feel that this is the right decision given the circumstances.

In the meantime, our live events staff will be providing more events over the remainder of December and into January. Our goal with these in-game events is not only to have fun with current players, but also let those players who may return to us over the Holidays see what our live events team has been up to!

Fall Festival will be re-activated for the weekend

The event was turned off so the winter events could be turned on. (Frosthaven) We should have given more notice on this, so we will be turning the Fall events back on for this weekend so everyone can finish up their quests associated with the fall events. Link

The turning back on of the fall events will coincide with the increased rares weekend. Friday at at around 5pm EST we will be turning the events back on and increasing the Rare drops. The events will then be shut off around 12pm EST on Monday the 17th. Link

Undead Attacks on Al-Jalima over, Festival Season leaves Glenden Wood

The Undead attack on Al-Jalima is over and the NPCs have taken off the guises. There are still undead leading to and surrounding the Burial Temple, and the portal can still be found inside, so it looks as though the Orisis quest is still active. However, the NPC in town, who was last seen firing off flame bolts, is no longer there, so the title is no longer available.

In Glenden Wood, the Majestic Pumpkin, Ungrim, the Festival Vendor, and all the decorations are gone.

Increased Rares Weekend! Friday December 14th - Sunday December 16th - Link

During the evening of December 14th we will be increasing the drop rate on all Rares as a way of saying thank you for being patient with us during the most recent downtimes we have had. During this weekend, The drop rate on Rares will be increased by 2.5 times. What does this mean? Statistically speaking a player will have over double the chance to find that Rare item they have been looking or hoping for.

So make your plans to be in-game this weekend and get your shot at that Rare you have always wanted!
