Re: Ayan Baqur edit

Hello, I've reviewed the recent edit you've made to Ayan Baqur. You removed the route to Ayan using the duplicate Halls of Metos portal, stating that the route no longer exists.

When you wrote that it no longer exists, do you mean on the current emulators? Or do you mean it was removed from the retail version of the game? --An Adventurer (talk) 12:53, September 30, 2019 (UTC)

Re: Ayan Baqur edit

In the emulated version. Not sure about retail since no one can access retail anymore. --Phamtrinli (talk) 7:29, September 30, 2019 (MST)

Thanks. This wiki is not intended to be a guide to any specific emulator project. It is a guide to how the game was at the end of retail, with historical information also archived. I will be reverting the changes to Ayan Baqur, since the route (most likely) still existed at the end of the game. --An Adventurer (talk) 13:05, October 1, 2019 (UTC)

Re: The Old Warehouse

Hello Phamtrinli. The Old Warehouse was updated in the August 2012 update The Risen Princess to be a level 40+ dungeon. See The Old Warehouse#Update History. I will be reverting the changes made to The Old Warehouse.

The content of this wiki should reflect the game at the time of shutdown, rather than whatever the current state is for a given emulator / server. As far as I am aware, the current emulator projects are more or less up to September or October of 2005 for content, with a few newer features as well.

The reason for the wiki's content policy is:

  1. Being accurate to end of game content gives emulator projects the information they need to reach that point again. This wiki contains historical information about previous states of content, usually at the bottom of the article in the Update History section.
  2. Different emulators and servers may be at different points in time in terms of content. This wiki cannot be a guide to every possible emulator/server.
  3. Different emulators and servers may include custom content which never appeared in retail. This wiki should not include content that is exclusive to only certain emulators/servers.

Thank you
