Quest Overview

After Completing Stage 2 the Strange Crystal Quest you must wait 13 days before you may begin Stage 3 the Fate of Bael'Zharon.
This is a once per character quest and is Stage 2 in the Shadow Invasion Quest chain.

Walk Through

1. Speak to Isin Dule in Arwic to start, and he will give you a Message from Isin Dule to Asheron.
   • Warning: If you do not speak to him you can get stuck in an uncompletable state where you cannot turn in your crystal (he will say he does not know what to do with that). If you are still on a timer he will not start the quest (he won't however tell you how much time is remaining on your timer).
2. Enter The Shadows at 29.5S, 94.2E in Tou-Tou
   • Route: Run from Tou-Tou
3. Make your way to the Strange Crystal
   • It is located in a small room to the West of the Dungeon
   • You will need to kill Void Objects which block the pathways
4. Use the Crystal to obtain the Strange Purple Crystal from The Shadows
   • At this point you have two choice. Both give the same reward for luminance and xp the only differance is the title. If you give the note to Ler Rhan you get the title of Undercover of Darkness or you can give the note to Asheron and he will give the title of Illuminating the Shadows.
5. Travel to Asheron's Castle
   • Route: Take the portal to Asheron's Island from Eastham at 17.9N, 64.3E. At the drop take the Portal to Asheron's Castle
6. Hand Asheron the Message from Isin Dule to Asheron (he will take the crystal) for your reward

Isin Dule tells you, "We are discussing over our plans to deal with this and will let you know more in the future."

Isin Dule tells you, "Bring the crystal to Asheron along with this note so he understands the situation."
Isin Dule tells you, "This information must reach Asheron."
Isin Dule gives you Message from Isin Dule to Asheron.

You hand over all of your Message from Isin Dule to Asherons.
You hand over all of your Strange Purple Crystals from The Shadows.
Asheron reads the note and then examines the crystal briefly.
Asheron tells you, "This is troubling news indeed."
Asheron tells you, "I will get to work on studying this crystal right away. Thank you for bringing me this."
You've earned 350,000,000 experience.
You've earned 30,000 Luminance.
You have been awarded the title of Illuminating the Shadows.
Asheron gives you Fortified Mana Forge Key.

Notes

• The creatures in the dungeon drain and cast nether spells. A Resister's Crystal helps if you want to solo this quest
