- A Box of Ten Promissory Notes can also be purchased from Marid the Stipend Vendor in Arwic for 4 Stipends, gives 10 Promissory Notes when used.
- Returned by the merchant Higashiyama Akako in exchange for Alternate Currencys, the Promissory Notes can then be exchanged with Absalom Sarraf for any Alternate Currency.
- During the Cloak of Darkness event the Promissory Note was added as a random reward at the High Stakes Casinos.
- During the Lessons from the Past event A'nekshay Tokens were added as currency to trade for Promissory Notes.
