Quest Overview

This once per character quest is the first in a series of Shadow quests. After completing this quest, you must wait 13 days before you may start the next stage, Strange Crystal Quest.

Walk Through

1. Optional: This quest begins when you speak to Isin Dule in Arwic at 33.4N, 56.9E. He will send you to Tou-Tou in search of a shadow spire.
2. Run from Tou-Tou to The Shadows at 29.5S, 94.2E.
3. Go down the (annoying) stairs, go north at the first cross, then east at the second cross then north and then east again, then go straight until you find a large room with a pillar of rock in the middle.
   
4. Run up the ramp around the pillar and speak to Ler Rhan at the top.
5. He will give you A message from Ler Rhan to Black Ferah.
6. Bring this to Black Ferah for your rewards. Located outside Tou-Tou at 29.2S 95.8E.
7. Note: If you would rather have the "Guiding Light" title, bring the lump to Isin Dule (Arwic) in Arwic before bringing it back to Black Ferah.
8. When you repeat this quest you cannot get the other title.

Isin Dule tells you, "I do not have time for idle chat, citizen. A shadow spire has appeared near Tou-Tou and we must discover the cause of this incident."

You hear a childish voice call upon the name of Ler Rhan, but the voice is faint and trails away into silence.

Ler Rhan tells you, "You've survived to make it this far. Perhaps you have skills we could put to use."

Ler Rhan tells you, "Take this message to Black Ferah at her scouting post near Tou-Tou."

Ler Rhan tells you, "If you fail to do this, do not return."

Ler Rhan gives you A message from Ler Rhan to Black Ferah.

Ler Rhan tells you, "Either deliver that message to Black Ferah or suffer a fate worse than death."

You allow Isin Dule to examine your A message from Ler Rhan to Black Ferah.

Isin Dule examines the message carefully.

Isin Dule tells you, "Ah, most interesting. This explains the spire that has appeared near Tou-Tou and the beginning of the generals' plans."

Isin Dule tells you, "Bring this to Ferah so that they do not suspect we have received this information."

Isin Dule tells you, "You must bring this message to Ferah before they realize you have slipped the information to us. Hurry!"

Black Ferah tells you, "I have no further need for you. If you keep up this kind of loyalty then perhaps we can use you in our ranks when the time comes."
