Quest Overview

In several dungeons on Marae Lassel, specific Olthoi drop a pincer trophies that can be given to Behdo Yii in Redspire for experience, Titles, trade notes, enchanted jewelry, healing kits, and for some dispel gems. The pincers have a 6 day pick-up timer.

During the Reforging the Past event, the Facility Hub was introduced. This hub contains shortcut portals to the first five dungeons (Abandoned Tumerok Site through Ancient Empyrean Grotto).

Behdo Yii tells you, "I had never seen these fearsome creatures that close before, and the fact that I escaped with my life leads me to believe that these Olthoi aren't quite so tough as their mainland counterparts. But now that Redspire has been taken over by Varicci's men, I couldn't return to the place even if I thought I could kill the Olthoi! If you could journey to this tumerok outpost and rid it of these troublesome beasts I would be most grateful."

Behdo Yii tells you, "If you could bring me back some proof that you have conquered them, such as a pincer, I would reward you well. I believe the portal to the Abandoned Tumerok Site now lies a bit to the northeast of here -- I have heard rumors that strange eddies in the currents of portal space have shifted it away from its original location."

Behdo Yii tells you, "And they insist that I, Bedho Yi, must go and deliver them from this threat! Please...I promise this is the last time. The Mutilator Tunnels lie upon the northwestern side of the Plateau. Bring me a Mutilator pincer, and I shall reward you!"

• During the Pillars Made of Sand event, the Mutilator Pincer, Warrior Pincer and Worker Pincer were added to the quest.
• During the Reclamation event Pincers started awarding titles directly rather than giving a title token.
• During the Reforging the Past event, the timer was reduced to 6 days and the xp rewards were increased.
• During the Filling in the Blanks event, the pincer-dropping Olthoi were changed to send out a message when they die.
