You stated that No matter what happend, if all servers defended the shard successfully, Then BZ would still be out in the open. Sounds to me like we do not actualy have a say in the way the storyline progresses.

| Answer = Not in this particular case, no. This plot has been running for 12 months, and needed to be resolved. In the future, when you are presented with such a choice, both options will have a meaningful, preplanned effect on the world. Keep in mind, though, that that effect will not be able to be implemented for two months.
