	I think many of those images would be great on the actual pages/content portals, I don't believe they would be a good idea on the main page. Its primary purpose is navigation, quickly getting the reader to the content they want to read, looking good is great, but it shouldn't get in the way of the primary goal.  We want to keep in mind that some users will viewing in smaller resolutions (1024x768 and up). With the current homepage, you can see the entire list of popular topics at this lower res. With the new layout idea on my sandbox page, you can only see the first 3 images. Whatever design we go with, we'd want to be able to see most/all of the topics at 1024x768.

The Examplar images are a little big, but they were the best thing available on the wiki for my purposes.

			\| Text = I'm a very minimalist person by nature, so I like what you have done with the Wikia homepage.

			When you say 12-15 main topics, do you mean like [[Crafting]], [[Housing]] etc - and would they be icons (icons are cool =D ) or buttons?

			I've sort of run out of things to do on the Wiki now so I don't mind updating links or articles if we do need to change anything again.
